Pirelli Ambiente (held by Camfin through a 49% stake) is the Pirelli group company that operates in the renewable energy sector (in particular in PV), site remediation and energy saving.

In the PV sector, the company operates with Solar Utility, with investments all over Italy. In July 2010, it signed a partnership, “GP Energia”, with GWM Group for the joint development of PV activities in Italy
