Pirelli & C. Eco Technology is active in the production of a wide range of particulate filtering systems and of the low environmental impact fuel Gecam or white diesel.
With regard to particulate filters, Feelpure technology, a filter system based on silicon carbide, can reduce particulate emissions from diesel engines by more than 95% and reduce emissions of the principal pollutant.

The Feelpure™ particulate filters, produced in the new fully automated factory in Romania, permit circulation in urban areas where vehicles with highly polluting emissions are prohibited. It was the first to receive homologation in Italy and is certified for access to limited traffic areas in Switzerland, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom and is currently undergoing homologation tests in Germany.

Pirelli Eco Technology has a commercial presence in the principal European markets through a dense network of distributors and installers. It is also present in China, where the construction of a particulate filters farm has begun within the Pirelli group’s production facility in the province of Shandong.
